Burridge has BS EN ISO14001:2004 certification!
- 28 June 2010At the beginning of 2010 Burridge set it's sights on achieving ISO14001 certification for the company Environmental Management System (EMS). This followed the recent success of achieving ISO9001 for the company Quality Management System.
The team revised and updated the company's existing EMS and documentation and were delighted that, following external audits in April and June by Ocean Certification, the system was certified.
Jen Maddison, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager for Burridge, said "environmental issues are becoming increasingly important and Burridge want to be seen as a responsible contractor; aware of the environmental impact of our works, with procedures in place to monitor and minimise these.
Having ISO14001 certification for our Environmental Management System will allow us to prove our worth to prospective Clients when completing tenders and pre qualification questionnaires.
The commitment to continual improvement means that Burridge will continue to be a forward thinking company, with systems that meet current legislation and best practice."
