Burridge renew CHAS Accreditation

PF Burridge and Sons Ltd have renewed their CHAS Accreditation for another year.

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme has been developed to allow contractors to show potential clients that they have a high standard of health and safety management within their organisation. 

The scheme is endorsed by the Local Government Association and supported by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)

The assessment covers areas such as General Policy, Management, Health and Safety Training, Risk Assessment, First Aid, Asbestos and Contractor Management.

Burridge has been a member of CHAS for a number of years and, this year, having completed another in depth questionnaire and compiled an extensive folder of supporting evidence, the company has been again been assessed as compliant by a CHAS assessor.

Jen Maddison, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager said "The CHAS scheme is a straightforward way for us to prove our competence to potential clients and the company is pleased to renew our Accreditation for another year".
